Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. The producer was also and costume/set designer as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC while she served as its Artistic Director. Although she usually led from within the group of actors, in her final year she made her first appearance as an actor (and lighting designer) in the SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. She has worked in various other television shows besides acting. Her two sisters and daughter were born by her scientist father Richard F. Post, as well as poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school of choice. She participated as a cheerleader. The school she attended briefly was Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post's previous marriage was to Stephen Knox. In 1982, she was married to actor and writer Michael A. Ross with whom they have two children. Post is an excellent actress, ideal wife and mom and she is a role model to several Hollywood stars.
